Daniel Edward Fitzgibbons Loves His Twin Cities Community
June 22, 2018
Daniel Edward Fitzgibbons is certainly among the best in the business of computer storage systems, given that he has more than 25 years’ experience in that area of the technology sector. Daniel currently serves as the Data Protection Business Manager for EMC Corporation, in their Minneapolis office, ENC is counted among the largest technology firms in the world, with billions in sales annually and tens of thousands of employees.

As important as his career is to him, however, for Daniel Edward Fitzgibbons, his family and his community are even more so. That is why Minnesota is home and he wants to make his home the best it can be; family and community have always been the most important things in his life. That is why he does so much work for charities that help the poor and homeless, like Bridging, which provides basic household items to those transitioning out of homelessness, and Loaves and Fishes, which serves hundreds of thousands of hot, nutritious meals to the hungry.

- For Dan Fitzgibbons, family has always played a role within his life. Growing up in Fargo, North Dakota — the state’s most populous city — he was the youngest of five children to Tom and Carol Fitzgibbons. Dan followed behind (in order) John Patrick — known as JP — Anne Marie, Mike and Joe. His youth in Fargo included first through eighth grade at Holy Spirit Grade School, which still exists today on 8th Street.
